Climbing for Kids raises more than $51K; event photos online

On Friday morning, first-time climbers and experienced mountaineers reached the summit of Mount Bierstadt to raise money for The Kempe Foundation and Children’s Hospital Colorado during the 6th Annual IP5280’s Climbing for Kids.  To date, the climbers have raised more than $51,000 for the two causes.  Even though the event is over, fundraising will continue until October 1.  Photos from the event are available on the Climb’s Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/ip5280climbingforkids.
