The Kempe Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect announces the appointment of four new board officers: Andy Boian, Board Chair; Reynolds Cannon, Board Vice Chair; Ruby Kadota, M.D., Board Secretary; and Dan Seff, Board Treasurer. The board also appointed one new board member, Patrice Gendelman.
Andy Boian is the Founder and CEO of dovetail solutions, a Denver-based public relations, branding and community positioning firm, specializing in strategic community investment. In addition to Kempe, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Denver Botanic Gardens Board, as well as numerous other local committees.
Reynolds Cannon of Windsor Capital Partners, LLC has served on numerous boards including Guaranty Bank and Trust Company; Gates Capital Management, LLC; Hazel R. Gates Trust; Business Advisory Committee for the Gates Family of Denver; Colorado Public Radio; and The Kempe Foundation.
Ruby Kadota, M.D. is Associate Medical Director for Professional and Team Development at Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG), LLC. Prior to her current position, she served as Regional Department Chief of Pediatrics for CPMG. Kadota has received the C. Henry Kempe Award for Outstanding Clinical Teacher and Outstanding Service Award from Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Dan Seff is a Director and shareholder with The Seff Group, P.C. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Certified Public Accountants in Colorado and Arizona. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst and a member of both The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and The Business Valuation Research Institute.
New board member Patrice Gendelman is Author/CEO of “Hannah Rose Knows” LLC. She is the author of the “Hannah Rose Knows” e-book series and Planet-Soul. She published “Expecting Etiquette” and has written three screenplays.
