Denver Bronco Cheerleader Calendar Release Party and 2nd Annual Race to Keep Kids on Track slated for August 13-14

The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders will host their Calendar Release Party and 2nd Annual Race to Keep Kids on Track on August 13-14, 2010 at The Track in Centennial, CO.  The Track is located at 13600 Eagle Rock Rd.

Event attendees will race for prizes and will receive a complimentary calendar, autographs, food, and beverages.  The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on August 13 with private VIP and Cheerleader Qualifying Trials.  The public Race Day and official calendar release will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on August 14.  A ticket is required for all events.  Tickets are available online or may be purchased on the day of the events.

Presented by the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, the Race and 2011 Calendar Release will raise funds to support The Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and The Kempe Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect.

The Kempe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1976, provides the education, advocacy and fundraising support for the work of The Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is to inspire and enable young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

The event raised $20,000 in 2009 for Denver Broncos charities.  Denver Bronco Champ Bailey and alumni members Karl Mecklenburg, Mark Schlereth, and David Treadwell raced go-karts in the 2009 event, traveling at speeds nearing 60 mph while racing against the 2009 Cheerleaders and members of the public.
