Guests will celebrate in New York style to support abused and neglected children during the “Kempe Takes Manhattan” event at 6 p.m. on April 16, 2010 at the Denver Marriott City Center.
Benefiting The Kempe Foundation, the event will recreate the iconic excitement and glamor of New York City during a dinner inspired by Big Apple cuisine, a Broadway-themed musical revue, live auction, and Studio 54 dancing. “Kempe Takes Manhattan” will also feature a special tribute to the life and work of dedicated Kempe champion and founder of the Kempe Alliance, Georgia Imhoff.
Ticket sales begin January 4.
The Gala Planning Committee includes:
- Committee Chairs – Gail and George Johnson
- Steering Committee – Ryta Sondergard, Lisa Taussig, and Kareina Westlund
